Mechanical inspection passed this morning, motor to the travel lift for haulout, wash and hull survey.
Hull survey all ok...2 hours of tap tap tap with a little hammer...
Next off for the sea trial...beautiful sunny day in the Bay, 10-15 knots of breeze. Hoisted the mai, unfurled the genoa and Diva took off like the proverbial robbers dog, 30 degrees to the apparent wind and she was flying...I had forgotten really, how nicely and how well she sails...every slight puff gave us a lift and she accelerated with it...just lovely.
So, the survey continues on Monday, no doubt with more tap tap tap on the deck and inside.
And then it will be done...if nothing serious is found, she's sold.
